DESCRIPTION:Chargebacks are a complicated matter when they happen nowadays given that there has been a liability shift from the merchant to the issues in most cases due to the use of 3D Secure\, EMN\, TAP and PIN\, as well as things like Interac e-transfers\, Pre-authorized Debit\, and wallet providers. \nThis shift still hasn’t stopped most banks\, credit unions\, and others involved in the chargeback process from dealing with Money Service Businesses\, Payment Services Providers\, and Crypto companies very differently than traditional merchants. In some cases\, very punitively. \nIn this presentation\, we will look at what a chargeback is\, the reasons for chargeback occurring\, and how best to deal with them not only when they happen\, but what steps to take to prevent them from happening in the first place\, where possible. \nAll participants will receive a certificate of attendance and access to the recording.
