Speaker Bios
Joseph Iuso - CEO, UseMyServices
The visionary and chief architect of the UseMyServices proprietary technology, Joseph has worked in the fields of e-Commerce and EFT integration for over 20 years. His extensive experience within the realm of self-service banking integration has helped many clients provide online, real-time transaction processing within the EFT community. Clients have included CIBC, ISM, IBM, ACI (Astech), ING Direct, Canadian Tire, and Royal Bank. With this understanding, Joseph has been able to link all the existing components to make UseMyServices a leader in real time bank payments technology.
Hayley Labbé - Senior Manager, MNP LLP
Hayley Labbé is a Senior Manager, in the Forensics and Investigations group of MNP LLP, focusing on AML/ATF Advisory Services. Hayley is ACAMS certified and a founding Board member of the ACAMS Vancouver Chapter. Hayley is also a member of the Department of Finance’s Public/Private Sector Advisory Committee on AML/ATF.
Hayley has over 20 years of management expertise in the financial services industry with both money service business and banking experience at large global organizations. Prior to joining MNP LLP Hayley was the Director of Compliance for Canada and the Caribbean for Western Union and has also served in various head office functions with the financial services sector including Acting Head of AML Compliance for Canada for a large Schedule II Bank.
Peter Lee - A/Senior Compliance Officer, Regional Operations and Compliance, FINTRAC
Peter began his career with the federal public service in 1986 when he joined Canada Customs (now known as the Canada Border Services Agency - CBSA) as a Customs Officer. In 1989, he joined the Intelligence Division within the CBSA working in several Joint Forces Operations with the RCMP including the Organized Crime Agency and the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team. After 28 years with the CBSA, Peter joined FINTRAC and is currently acting as a Senior Compliance Officer for FINTRAC’s Western Regional Office. He has conducted compliance examinations in all of the sectors covered by the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) Terrorist Financing Act.
